I'm a big fan of ] in Dredge, since even without his activated abilities he can be a huge threat. He's also great with a sac outlet, or anything with Devour sacrifice all the surviving cats during Main Phase 2 to something nasty, like ] and ], or ]. With a ] or ] on board, it can end games in a single combat. ] is my favourite clone target, especially for Progenitor Mimic. Really, any clone effects are great I love ] because of the tricks he can pull off. ] is a nice include, he combos well with ETB creatures and can provide a nice supply of attackers. Doubles as a rattlesnake if you've got a nasty ETB available, and grants evasion due to Intimidate. ] makes for great recursion, if you have the mana. Obviously some sorcerers will be necessary, but I heavily prioritize instant effects and creature based effects for this deck Since my strategy will always be weak to graveyard disruption I want to be able to react quickly to changing board state between my turns. I'm still in development so I don't have a list, any suggestions/synergies are appreciated.Īs a side note, I am running a secondary theme of flash/instant prioritization. Midrange creatures and effects that let me defend myself if my graveyard is interrupted or I am forced to rebuild my engines, something like Pharika but obviously that functions without a graveyard.p Synergistic dredge cards to actually win the game, creatures or combos of creatures that can swing for a lot of damage consistently every turn and recur for a reasonable upkeep (ie Vengevine) So far I have a card advantage package, a ramp package, a graveyard protection package, and my usual removal/reset/utility package, now I am looking for two things. So far I have decided to stick with BUG and I chose Damia to command as I don't like to rely on my commander to win for me (ie. I am trying to build a viable dredge deck for EDH without relying on combos as a wincon.
